Sparks, NV – Today, David Espinosa announced his bid for Nevada Assembly District 31.
“I have spent the past several weeks listening to my fellow Sparks residents, as well as Nevadans from across the state, hearing about the challenges they face from legislation passed by a state government that is out of touch with its residents. Our legislature is making it more expensive to hire employees; they are making it harder for people to be self-employed, and they are making it too burdensome to open a business. Employers and employees need a legislature that understands that higher taxes and more regulations kill jobs and hurt Nevada families.”
A long-time Sparks resident, David Espinosa has been both an engineer and business executive. He has worked in some of the fastest growing companies in Nevada, hiring many Nevadans and helping them advance in their careers. David has served on state and local committees and boards, been an educator at the University of Nevada, and been an active and vocal advocate for limited government.
David Espinosa earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nevada. He and his wife Cynthia raised their three daughters in Sparks.
